Madonna is reportedly suing the owners of her New York apartment building for banning her children from living at the building when she is not present.

The lawsuit claims that the building’s board illegally changed the singer’s lease in April 2014 to state that children and domestic help could not live in the apartment unless she or her spouse or partner were in residence.

According to Page Six, the papers read: “Plaintiff is a world-renowned recording artist, performer and singer who is constantly on world tours.

“As such, plaintiff owns many residences around the world and travels extensively worldwide."

Madonna has four children, Lourdes, 19, Rocco, 15, David Banda, 10 and Mercy James, 9. She would like them to be able to live at the residence when she is out of town.
