Lupita Nyong'o's Got An Excellent New Role And We Can't Wait

Fangirling, fangirling hard. Talented actress Lupita Nyong’o is reportedly going to be in Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther movie – aaaand breathe.

In the recently released Captain America: Civil War the ‘Black Panther’ character, played by Chadwick Boseman, was introduced. And looked epic. And did a whole bunch of cool jumps and fights and stuff. The film, set to start filming in early 2017 follows the origin story of T’Challa, prince of Wakanda, who sets out on a mission to avenge the murder of his father. His father incidentally was killed by (massive spoiler if you haven’t already seen it) Zemo, who was also avenging the death of his family. Come to think about it, there was a lot of avenging going on for a film that focuses on the disassembly of the Avengers, but I digress.

Though Lupita’s character is yet to be revealed and we’re all itching to know who she will play, she is reportedly going to portray the role Black Panther’s interest. The Oscar winning actress recently starred in the £2.4m box office hit Star Wars: The Force Awakens and then the beloved Jungle Book remake. With the film set to be released on Feb 2nd 2018, one things for sure... I’ll be sitting with the other nerds patiently waiting for further Marvel updates.
