The director immediately apologised saying, ‘Oh my God, I am so, so sorry’ adding he was ‘mortified’.
His celebrity peers rushed to his Instagram comments admiring his calm and collected attitude during this uncomfortable situation. Mad Men's January Jones even asked for the directors name to ensure she never worked with him in the future – Ouch.
The director was later revealed to be veteran British director - Tristram Shapeero. He issued a lengthy apology letter to the then 25-year-old Gage.
