Tommy Fury’s Terrible Seduction Sandwich Was The Second Most Exciting Thing To Happen On Love Island This Week

Tommy Fury - who can’t make a cup of tea or an omelette - is also, unsurprisingly, not amazing at making sandwiches. The boxer gave Love Island viewers a laugh last night when he made a starter for new girl Maura - and it was a disaster almost as bad asFyre Festival.

Tommy - who revealed that his mum does all his cooking for him - opted to create a dish consisting of two slices of bread, covered with slices of cheese cut into heart shapes and topped with loads of ketchup and mayonnaise. Obviously a bit embarrassed, before they sat down to eat, he told his date, 'Please don’t judge me. There’s a lot of effort that’s gone into that.’ (She seemed to be impressed by the hearts, though.)

But the snack looked a bit too familiar, with the official Love Island account asking, ‘Wait, was Tommy the chef at Fyre Festival? #LoveIsland’ Another Twitter user posed the question, ‘Tommy's starter was ordered from Fyre Festival.’ Others, however, were less kind, with one saying, ‘Tommy’s starter looks like vomit on a slice of bread.’ Another added, ' Tommy can be the fittest guy in the world but if you bring a girl bread with mayo and ketchup on it for a date, I think it’s game over.'

On Sunday's episode, Curtis joked, 'So Tommy is a really good boxer, and is not good at... anything else.' Tonight, viewers will be able to watch the other guys in the villa date the new girls.
