Don't Panic, There's Going To Be A Love Island Spin Off

Before you start sobbing into your Pret cheese and ham sandwich about the end of Love Island, fear not fellow addicts – the love is not over yet. I just threw up a little at how gross I sounded there, sorry. The show was so popular that ITV are following the couples as they head off home in a new spin off, literally called ‘Heading Home.’ A show insider told The Sun that Love Island enjoyed ‘incredible ratings and doing follow-up show was a no-brainer.’

Heading Home is set to air next Sunday at 9pm on ITV and will follow the couples as they head back into real life and do real life things like meeting the in-laws and going on dates in Nandos or wherever people like to eat. The cameras are literally going to follow their every.single.move. Everywhere. Kind of like a mash-up between TOWIE and Made In Chelsea but spread across the whole country. ITV will probably pay for the train tickets for all their long distance relationships though, lucky lot.

Winners Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde will obviously be on the show, let’s face it, no one would probably watch it if they weren’t. Along with Kady McDermott and Scott Thomas, and Terry Walsh and Emma-Jane Woodham. Errrrm hello where’s Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland in that line up? ITV, sort it out.

We’re ultimately quite worried about if it will just be an extension of the show but in the normal world – i.e., lots and lots of sex… We’d like to think the guys will keep it under wraps until they’re in the safety of their own homes, but who knows, anything could happen.
