It Looks Like Love Island’s Mike Boateng And Priscilla Anyabu Have Split

The pair, from Winter Love Island, seem to have confirmed the news.

Love Island’s Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu, who finished fifth in the 2020 winter series, have sparked split rumours after unfollowing each other on Instagram. Say it isn’t so! Eagle-eyed fans – including us at Grazia - have spotted that the pair are no longer following each other on the app and have deleted a number of photos together. So, we're guessing they've sadly split.

This gesture has become something of a reality couple staple of late: Sophie Hermann and Tom Zanetti's split was also originally hinted at when they cut social media ties.

The subject of Mike and Priscilla’s break up even made its way onto a Reddit thread with one user explaining that they had thought they had ‘broken up for a while now’. An insider also confirmed the news to MailOnline, saying: 'Mike and Priscilla made the most out of their relationship and supported each other throughout their time post-villa and during lockdown. But it's not worked out between them – and they've now decided they're better off as friends.'

The pair kept things pretty low key after leaving the villa, but they still managed to serve us couple goals after a joint presenting gig at last year's MOBO Awards and using their platform to promote Black Lives Matter. They also moved in together in London during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Mike famously had a pretty, uhm, busy time during his time in Love Island. He coupled up with Leanne Amaning, then he went on a date with Jess Gale before re-coupling with Leanne. Then he chose to couple up with Sophie Piper, dumping Leanne from the villa. Then Sophie got dumped from the villa and Priscilla arrived in Casa Amor and they got together.

We're counting down the days until Love Island returns on Monday on ITV2 at 9pm.

Maura Higgins (series five)

Irish ring girl Maura Higgins was reality TV gold from the moment she stepped into the villa and fed Michael Griffiths dessert on their date just to rile up the OG girls. She then got the fanny flutters for Tommy Fury and tried to steal him from Molly-Mae Hague with the classic line, 'Does she turn you on like I do?' While she didn't manage to bag her man, she later coupled up with Curtis Pritchard who she dated until March 2020.
