Love Island's Maura Higgins has revealed she stormed out of the villa and wanted to quit the hit ITV2 dating show in scenes that weren't aired over the summer.
Speaking to the boohoo podcast 'Get The Scoop', the 28-year-old said she attempted to leave because she thought she'd never find love, until she met fellow contestant Curtis Pritchard.
The Irish beauty said, 'You have a lot of good moments, but then you have a lot of bad moments in there too because things get very heightened.
'I’m so proud of the fact I didn’t give up because I was going to. I actually stormed out of the villa and said, “I want to go home, I can’t do it anymore, I can’t find a man."
She added: 'But I’m so proud that I got the strength to stay and carry on… and now look, I’ve got a man!'
Maura, who is rumoured to be taking part in the next series of Dancing On Ice, also revealed her best and worst moments in the villa.
She said, 'My best moment in the villa was finally finding a man. My worst was missing my sister’s wedding and missing my niece’s birthday, oh my God I cried that day.
'It was also my best friends two-year anniversary while I was away. I cried so many times.'

And not one to shy away from any drama, Maura also hit back at the critics, after it was suggested she got 'too close' with fellow contestant Greg O'Shea, when the pair appeared on The Late Late Show in Ireland.
Slamming the reports, she said, 'Do you know what? It's 2019 right? If I was stood there besides a girl, nothing was going to be said about it.
'If I'm stood besides any man, I'm going to be accused of flirting. It's ridiculous, come on!'
Preach it Maura!
