According to reports, Laura Anderson is moving to Dubai 'for good' following backlash for visiting during the pandemic. Laura was one of many reality stars who were heavily criticised for posting photos abroad towards the end of 2020, just before the UK was plunged into its third lockdown.

The influencer previously told the paper she had lost followers and jobs over her decision to go to the UAE. 'It was so hard to stick up for myself,' she said. 'I understand the whole pandemic, I am not a silly little girl. It is really hard and it still going on now. It was a really hard decision to go over. I’ve lost followers, I’ve lost jobs.' Grazia has contacted Laura's representatives for comment.
Fellow Love Islander Olivia Attwood spoke to Grazia last year about her frustration over some of her reality star colleagues worrying about whether or not to post holiday content on Instagram. 'Influencers and Love Islanders get such a bad reputation, it really grinds my gears,' she said.
'I think we're not all completely disillusioned, some of us are living in the real world,' Olivia continued. 'But we all get tarred with the same brush, which is frustrating. But it's just so unbelievably tone-deaf to think that now would be an appropriate time to raise that topic, when your hard day is creating content that might get nasty comments and someone else's hard day is a 12 hour shift, zipping up body bags at the end of it.'
