Love Island Fans Are Obsessed With This Meme About Callum’s ‘Real’ Identity

It's up there with the Chris Hughes meme of 2017.

Love Island's Callum Jones has stolen the nation's hearts. With those classic one-liners, dulcet Mancunian tones and his cheeky chappy ways, he's perfect for the show.

And it looks like he's perfect for Shaughna Phillips, too.

Yet earlier this week, when he went on a date with new girl Rebecca Gormley, that all seemed to change as it looked like his head might be turning. Oh, say it ain't so.

After he called her "fit", then lied to Shaughna saying he didn't, fans are not happy. Many are even comparing him to 2018 Islander Michael Griffiths, which is never great news.

Taking to Instagram, one fan made a hilarious meme which showed Fred Jones from the cartoon version of Scooby Doo, tying Callum up to reveal the Islander's 'real' identity to be Michael.

Fans were quick to comment on the photo, with one user writing, "OMG 😂😂😂😂", while another commented, "FUMING." A third added, "This is joke."

However, others jumped to Callum's defence. One said: "Did he say he prefers her (Rebecca) to who he's with? (Shaughna) Has he recoupled with her? NO."

In the episode, following Callum and Shaughna's AWKWARD conversation, Shaughna took Rebecca to one side for a quick chat to "see where her head's at." A classic Love Island convo.

Shaughna attempted to tell Rebecca to stay away, but it didn't really work as she responded, "I can't help who I'm gonna like" then kissed Callum in a game of dares.

And let's just say his current squeeze wasn't too happy, as Shaughna said straight after, "I don't think she gave one ounce of f**ks… she's got to shoot her shot and I'm going to shoot it down."
