We've all fallen, well, a little bit in love with Love Is Blind, the Netflix reality show which encouraged strangers to speed date, get to know one another and then ask the other to marry them without ever actually seeing the other person. The concept was simple: 30 contestants, 30 pods and many days of speed dates before romantic connections (and proposals) were made . Sounds mad, makes for great TV (and three long term couples, FYI).
Quickly capturing the nations attention when it premiered last month, it's become an essential binge-worthy 'must-watch', with viewers keen to find out which couples last the long run and which cut ties before the big day.
If you've watched the show, you'll know that the couples who did propose to one another were whisked away on a post-engagement 'honeymoon' holiday to Mexico, where they stayed at a five-diamond AAA location on the coast.
Now, the luxurious-looking resort has a seriously exciting offer for Love Is Blind fans. Yep, the Grand Velas Riviera Maya hotel, which is located near the Playa del Carmen, is offering an all-inclusive stay in one of their suites, where you'll get to enjoy the king-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms, private terraces and plunge pools used by the contestants during their time there.
This is all offered at a discounted price, and while packages vary, some offer Prosecco and truffles on arrival, with others including romantic spa experiences and water sports including snorkelling and kayaking.
Even minus the Love Is Blind connection, we're sold.
It's worth noting that booking holidays, at present, is obviously more risky than normal due to the current Coronavirus outbreak in the UK and globally. Many are wondering if they'll have to cancel their summer wedding or holiday, but if you do decide to risk it and buy now, all deals are valid for stays until 18 December 2020 if book this month (that's before 31 March 2020).
