(Spoiler alerts, obviously!) Love Is Blind was a wild show, packed with perfect reality contestants. Even though she didn’t say ‘I do’ at the altar, one of our favourite daters was Jessica Batten{ =nofollow}.

And she certainly had one of the most dramatic journeys on the intense ‘dating experiment’. On the hit Netflix show, Jessica was originally interested in Matt Barnett - but she then entered a relationship with Mark Cuevas, who she was also talking to in the pods, when Barnett said he wasn’t sure that he still wanted to propose to her.

Now, Jessica has confirmed the rumours that she tried to quit the series, but says that she ‘wasn’t able to do that’ (even though, in a previous interview, she said that contestants weren't forced to go through with the weddings).

She told Entertainment Weekly: ‘It was psychological warfare, for sure, because planning a wedding is stressful enough, I hear. But when you’re planning a wedding with someone that I knew I didn’t want to marry him, we weren’t ready for that, and we actually had multiple conversations and we were both on the same page about that.' The reality star added that she thought the time they had together, only 38 days, wasn't long enough for them to make up their minds. ‘We weren’t ready to marry each other in that allotted amount of time that we had,' she added. 'We were very much on the same page about that.’

‘I definitely had a conversation about leaving and I wasn’t able to do that,’ Jessica clarified. ‘My dog got sick too, and almost died during the show, I had so much other stuff going on.’

We wonder what will happen on the show's reunion episode which will air on Netflix's YouTube this Thursday.
