While One Directioners the world over have just gotten used to the idea that Louis Tomlinson is to become a dad after a few hook-ups with LA stylist Briana Jungwirth, a bombshell has landed.
Louis’s 11-year-old sister, Daisy Tomlinson has claimed that Briana isn’t even pregnant.
As well as Tweeting on July 19th:
She also told The Sunday Times journalist Camilla Long to say:
It’s intriguing to wonder what's happened here. Is Briana no longer pregnant, or was she never even pregnant in the first place? And a lot of 'whys' follow. But there's a couple of reason this Tweet could be a red herring. First off, why would 11-year-old Daisy know what's going on in her brother's babymother's womb? Secondly, and weirdly, we can’t say for sure that this account is actually Daisy Tomlinson’s. Yes, she’s got 420,000 followers – twice as many as the real account for Louis’s other sister, Felicity. But Louis’s mum has previously stated – after ‘Daisy’ had a pop at Naughty Boy online – that her 11-year-old daughter doesn’t have a Twitter account.
Most of the photos posted on ‘Daisy’’s Twitter account seem to have not been taken from anywhere public on the internet (a lot of people have made fan accounts for One Direction by using images taken of them previously uploaded elsewhere, even the boys' own Instagram accounts). But the images could be have been taken from the real Daisy’s Facebook account. You see, there’s this eerie phenomenon online of superfans posing as famous (or semi-famous) kids, dedicating a lot of time to pretening to being them and it’s a bit weird.
And though we haven’t heard the baby news from either of the horses’ mouths yet, Briana’s pregnancy does seem to be confirmed.
One Direction’s support act Icona Pop have spoken about Louis's impending daddyhood and how they’ll help look after the baby on tour. You’d think, if Brianna wasn’t pregnant, they’d get told off, big time, for lying about this. Oh, and Simon Cowell has also told The Sun that he’s passed on some parenting tips to Louis e.g. 'I said to him: "You man up. You're fortunate because you're in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry too much about that."'
As for those saying Briana's not pregnant? This could just be a conspiracy theory designed by Directioners to calm any potential threat of the band breaking up (odds of the band splitting in 2015 were slashed to 3/1after Briana’s pregnancy was first reported). What we certainly can tell you is that there’s a hell of a lot of Directioners convinced that Briana is not pregnant:
