If you're a nice celebrity you probably don't go around expecting to be recognised like, *all *the time but, you know, sometimes there's got to be some comedy value in it.
So it was with a sly chuckle then that Lorde tweeted about her recent Uber ride during which the driver waxed lyrical about his previous passenger who was a 'celebrity'. Oooooh.
'Uber driver currently busting a nut about the fact that there was a "celebrity passenger" just before me.' She tweeted.
'I can tell our ride, by comparison, sparkles significantly less for him.'
'I can feel it from the back seat, his dazed glow. he's probably now pretending that i am not here, that they are still together, and alone.'
TBF to Lorde's Uber driver, it's not like Lorde was the youngest person in 26 years to get a number on of the Billboard Top 100. It's not like she's got two Grammys and a Brit. It's not like she's been on Forbes 30 under 30 list. It's not like she's got 15 million followers across her three main social media platforms.
Oh wait.
Lorde's story though, pales in comparison to the one Ellie Goulding chimed in with.
'Mine said he had someone from Ellie Gouldings band in earlier.' She tweeted. 'But didn't like her music soooo.'
Ouch.
