This Halloween, more people are set to dress up than ever. Not necessarily because everything America does, we do too, but people really like to Instagram photos of themselves in fancy dress. It makes that selfie just a bit less arrogant if you've put loads of work into an outfit for everyone else to enjoy, right?
Anyway, some people are so bored with the idea of dressing like a sexy cat, that they like to dress up as scary things relevant to that time. A couple of years ago, it was Jimmy Savile. Now? Well, there's that hoax sexy ebola nurse outfit going round. Oh, and also, lots of people are dressing as ISIS.
We get it's probably easy to dress as an extreme jihadist – five young people a week are leaving the UK to join ISIS, they don't seem to be naked – and even notable dunce Chris Brown once turned up to a club on Halloween with his boys, all dressed like Al Qaeda.
But is it really necessary? Sure, have a laugh at something you're genuinely terrified of to make it less scary. Just remember, ISIS has killed 24,000 innocent people, raped thousands of women and trains children to be soldiers. Oh, and the fact that if you're just dressing in traditional Arabic or Islamic dress, that's not actually dressing as an ISIS fighter, that's dressing as a Muslim, and kind of implying that all Muslims are as evil as ISIS. There are about 1.6 billion Muslims in the world, if they were all ISIS, we wouldn't be typing this right now.

On the lighter side, there is some adorable cuteness to come from Halloween outfits, in the form of two Lorde fans dressing up as her and boyfriend James Lowe. OK, so they weren't dressing for actual Halloween – it turns out Zoe June (who dresses up as James and is a girl, fact fans!) and her friend was for something called Starstruck! day at Arizona College Preparatory school. But still, Zoe and her friend should totally think of going as Lorde and James Lowe to whatever Halloween party they're set to be invited to ever since Lorde herself Instagrammed a photo of the pair!
Plus, it gets even better than that. Lorde's mum, Sonya Elich, even went on to Zoe's Instagram to comment under a 'candid' shot of 'James' taking a photo of 'Lorde' (real life James is a photographer). She said: 'Too good. Even I'm tricked.'
See, much more kudos than dressing in a sack and calling yourself a terrorist.
