If there’s one person we just can't get enough of right now, it’s Lizzo.

When the popstar isn’t wowing crowds around the world at the VMAs or, as we found out the other day, performing for the cast of Made In Chelsea - she’s teaching us all that it’s okay to find ourselves beautiful. And that the way we look isn’t something we should apologise – or be called brave – for.

'When people look at my body and be like, "Oh my God, she's so brave," it's like, "No, I'm not,"' she told Glamour{ =nofollow}. 'I'm just fine. I'm just me. I'm just sexy.'

The 31-year-old singer also demonstrated how 'there's a double standard when it comes to women' in terms of varying body types. ‘If you saw Anne Hathaway in a bikini on a billboard, you wouldn't call her brave,' the Truth Hurts singer added. 'I don't like it when people think it's hard for me to see myself as beautiful. I don't like it when people are shocked that I'm doing it.'

In the interview, Lizzo explained that her confidence has been bolstered by the internet, which has helped to diversify beauty standards. ‘If you want to see somebody who's beautiful who looks like you, go on the internet and just type something in. Type in "blue hair." Type in "thick thighs." Type in "back fat." You'll find yourself reflected. That's what I did to help find the beauty in myself.'
