Who is in Little Fires Everywhere?
The series has a fabulous cast. Reese Witherspoon plays Elena Richardson, a journalist and mother of four teenagers, and Kerry Washington plays Mia Warren. And, as well as starring in it, Reese and Kerry also executive produced the series. Joshua Jackson stars as Bill Richardson, Elena's husband and Rosemarie DeWitt plays Linda McCullough. Jade Pettyjohn, Lexi Underwood, Megan Stott Gavin Lewis and Jordan Elsass also star.
What is the plot to Little Lies Everywhere?
The show is based on the best-selling 2017 novel of the same name by Celeste Ng. It's set in Shaker Heights, Ohio during the late 1990s, and it features Witherspoon and Washington as mothers from different socioeconomic backgrounds. It follows 'the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives. The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood – and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.'
