Lindsay Lohan’s Making A Comeback. Again.

With a gig at the O2 and a US magazine fashion shoot under her belt within the past week, is this a sign of great things to come?

Lindsay Lohan's Making A Comeback. Again.

While it might seem unlikely that Lindsay Lohan, star of many a teen film before embarking on a long and winding downfall, will ever make the full comeback she's deserved, we have hope. Just like the section of Anthea Turner's Wikipedia page entitled 'career revival failure' has since been deleted, with time, it could transpire that Lindsay's downfall will be a mere blip on a decades-long entertainment career. As part of re-becoming the star she is destined to be, she's done two major things. Firstly, she appeared with Duran Duran live on stage at The O2 in London as she has a spoken word cameo on their new album.

On the track Danceophobia, she huskily intones: 'Can you hear me?/ If you can hear me let me know/ I am your doctor/ You may be experiencing feelings of confusion/ Don't be afraid, I've seen these symptoms before/ 10-20 new cases each week/ We call this condition, danceophobia/ I'm going to bring you in for observation/ I'll have to work on you tonight/ We have to trust each other/ And together, I think we can lead this thing off/ When the music ends.

On top of that, a new - pretty beautiful - shoot of the actress, taken by Ellen Von Unwerth in Mykonos in the all-too-distant summer, has been released. Lindsay gushed over the shots, taken for No Tofu magazine in her first American editorial shoot in over a year, on her Instagram:

Is this the sign of something huge? Probably not, but it's a nice start.
