Did Lindsay Lohan Really Bag Up Whitney Houston’s Body At The Morgue?

Our research shows that Lindsay was not only in town, but carrying out her morgue work as part of her community service at the exact same time Whitney died...

In a case of severe WTF celebrity gossip, Lindsay Lohan has claimed that, during her time as a morgue attendant (she was given the grim task as part of her court-ordered community service following violating parole on a drink-drive conviction), she prepared a body bag Whitney Houston’s body.

In a recent interview, she explained that her time in the morgue, working from 4am to 4pm, was ‘Fucked up and inappropriate – because a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like, “No, they can’t handle it. Lohan can.”’

In what seems like a tirade against accusations that celebrities get away with crimes in a way that normal people don’t, she implied that she was discriminated against by other morgue workers because of her fame. ‘It’s different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston,’ she toldThe Telegraph.

And that’s where the sound of a million records scratching came into our heads. We’ve heard a lot of things from the interviews Lindsay’s been doing ahead of her first ever West End appearance in Speed The Plow – she’s mates with Lana Del Rey, she wants to win two Oscars in the next ten years, she’s actually going to stay put in one place and work day-in-day-out at the theatre, something she’s never done before – but this is surely the most bizarre.

Our research shows that it really could be true – following a 2007 DUI conviction, Lindsay had, after various forays into other sorts of community service, been ordered to work at the LA County Morgue. And she had been working there in February 2012, when Whitney Houston died. We’re guessing that the late pop legend’s body would have been brought in to the morgue on the 12th or 13th of February.

If you believe us on that, then it’s very possible that Lindsay had been working at the mortuary when Whitney was wheeled in. Our research (loads of Googling) tells us that Lindsay did fly back to Los Angeles three days earlier than the end of New York Fashion Week, presumably to see out her community service.

And she really was doing her community service, with a judge telling her later that month, ‘Ms. Lohan, you’re in the home stretch… You seem to be getting your life back on track.’

However, even if Lindsay really had been at the morgue at that time, there’s nothing to say that she definitely bagged Whitney’s body, after all, with all of the confessionals Lindsay’s put out via her Oprah series, the countless articles where she talks about how she’s changed, wouldn’t she have said something about it ages ago?

It seems like the weirdest part of this bit of celebrity gossip isn’t that it could be true, but that she's never bought it up before. If that had happened to us, as gruesome as it sounds, we wouldn’t have been able to shut up about it…
