Zoe Kravitz has claimed that Lily Allen attacked her with a kiss and then wrote about it in her book claiming it was consensual.

The Fantastic Beasts actress appeared, alongside co-star Eddie Redmayne, on a chat show where viewers could call in with their questions.

One called to ask: ‘I was wondering if Lily Allen warned you that she was going to write about the two of you kissing in her autobiography, and how did that come about?’

Kravitz immediately responded ‘Who’s Lily Allen?’ before continuing ‘If by kissing she means, like, attacking, then yes, she kissed me.’

Andy Cohen, the presenter of the chat show then asked Kravitz whether that’s how Allen portrayed it in her book, called My Thoughts Exactly, Kravitz responded: ‘No…’

Cohen then prompted Kravitz for her thoughts exactly, saying ‘It was portrayed…?’, to which Kravitz replied: ‘…like I wanted it.’

Asked if she’d read the book, Kravitz replied ‘I don’t think anybody read the book.’

As for the bit of Allen’s book mentioning Kravitz? It reads: ’For my New York shows, Zoë Kravitz and her band Lolawolf supported me, so I got to know Zoë a bit. We became friends.’

‘Later in the tour, when we were in Washington, the girls and their nanny, Jess, came out to visit me for a few days, but I had to go back to New York for a day or so for work. Zoë and I went out partying and ended up kissing. I heard that later that same night she’d got down with A$AP Rocky. Go girl, I thought.’

Elsewhere in the book, Allen details her #MeToo moment, claiming that a record exec sexually assaulted her, that the man, who offered to help her with her addictions, got her drunk on tequila. She then ‘woke up to find him trying to have sex with her in a hotel room’. Allen said and that such stories were ‘rife’ in the industry.

Lily Allen's representatives have offered no comment on the story.
