It’s been over a year since Jennifer Lawrence had naked pictures of her leaked by website 4Chan in September 2014, which she later dubbed a ‘sex crime’.
Now, after Nicholas Hoult broke his silence on it in during an interview on Good Day New York, Liam Hemsworth has spoken out about it too.
Speaking in an interview with Men’s Health, Liam said: ‘I just don’t understand how someone can do that to another human being. It’s the hugest invasion of privacy you can think of. She’s such a good person – such a good-hearted person – and for her to be put through that was unfair. It made me upset for her. And it made me angry. Really angry.’
The fact that he’s speaking out in support of it is great, sure, but we can’t help thinking it’s a tad overdue. Just a tiny little bit.
That said, if it helps spread awareness and understanding of the whole thing, surely that can only be a good thing, right?
