Liam Gallagher and his daughter Molly Moorish were previously estranged - but, now they’re back in touch, the singer has praised the 21-year-old. When asked on social media if he was ‘proud’ of Molly - whose mum is Liam’s ex Lisa Moorish - the rocker replied: ‘I am so proud of her, she’s a beautiful, clever young woman.’
Molly, who is in her second at year at Goldsmiths University, recently spoke to Grazia about her ‘unconventional family’ and how her dad, Liam, even advises her about boyfriends. ‘I go to him for boy advice,’ she told us. ‘He’ll be like, “Stay away from that one…”’
The model also revealed how the pair reconciled at Liam’s local pub in North London, a couple of weeks before he posted a pic of Molly and his two sons Gene (whose mother is Nicole Appleton) and Lennon (who mother is Patsy Kensit) at a gig. ‘We went to the pub and got on so well,’ remembers Molly. ‘For the build-up, I was not really thinking about it. Then, for the first five minutes, I was like, “Oh, this is weird,” and then it just was fine.’
However, since getting back in touch with Liam, Molly and her uncle Noel – who were on good terms before Liam was in the picture – have ceased communication. ‘We don’t “not speak” but we don’t speak, if that makes sense,’ says Molly, adding the silence ‘wasn’t my decision’. (Molly also says that chances of an Oasis reunion are at zero.)
