It’s always tempting for those with bleach blonde hair to dye it a ‘fun’ colour – and while the shade of the moment is definitely that purple shade as worn by Kelly Osbourne and Nicole Richie, Lena Dunham’s gone for something a little less ubiquitous.
For the Canadian leg of her Not That Kind of Girl book tour, Lena’s dyed her hair green. Not a pale, pastel, looks-like-an-accident green, but a luscious, shiny, softly emerald green that gives her a ridiculously cool super-hero vibe.
She showcased the new look on her Instagram feed on Wedesday night in a selfie with her dog Lamby, captioning it ‘Newly minted for the Canadian leg of the tour thanks to @tanneyb @rheannewhite’.
