Lena Dunham, who has a gay sister, might have sworn that she won't walk down the aisle until same-sex marriage is allowed in every US state, but that doesn't mean that her boyfriend Jack Antonoff doesn't want to tie the knot.
The guitarist in Fun explained: 'It's hard to imagine when the right time is, because things are so crazy at the moment. It just seems like the most fun thing in the world. I've never met people who have kids who haven't looked me in the eye and been like, "It's the greatest thing that's ever happened."'
Aw! And it looks like Jack's always been crazy for Lena since they first went out after being set up on a blind date (well, as blind as a blind date can be these days: 'It was a blind date by modern standards. I mean, I used the internet'). He told New York Magazine: 'I told Lena everything about my whole life because when you really like someone, you want them to know everything about you.'
For now, though, it looks as if they're quite happily becoming a contented couple. However, you'd think with his musician credentials (he's releasing a new album as Bleachers) and that cocaine episode of Girls that Lena directed, they'd be able to party a bit. But apparently they're totally boring together. So boring that even old people don't want to get stoned with them. 'One time, we were at a dinner party where everyone was over 60 and, before we knew it, we realised that everyone at the table had gone outside to smoke pot and they didn’t invite us. That basically says it all.'
We kind of like them for all their boringness. Plus, Jack's got Yoko Ono and Grimes on his new album – not exactly dull in our world.
