So, it turns out Lena Dunham is just as obsessed as Love Island as the rest of us - and it turns out we all share the same favourite Islander. Since relocating to Wales to film HBO drama Industry, the Girls star has been hooked on the series - and she just can't get enough of Maura Higgins.
Lena shared a photo of the Irishwoman emposed on the Virgin Mary’s body, writing, ‘For you folks in the UK who are binging on @LoveIsland like me, like Maura, I want a partner who can match me, not a coward who thinks I’m OTT, cringey and an attention seeker! ICYMI, Tom got himself in even more of a pickle last night, because after claiming Maura was ‘OTT’ and ‘cringe’, he lied to her and denied what he said. After finding out the truth, Maura ditched him - and, consquently, when it was time for two Islanders to be dumped from the villa, he was voted off by the boys.
It's not the only embarrassment for model Tom though - as an unseen picture of him at work was released yesterday just before he left the villa. The 29-year-old has been well and truly owned by B&Q, who found a photo of him assembling one of their toilets.
Sharing the picture on Twitter, the chain wrote, ‘We don't want to see #LoveIsland Tom's chances of finding love go down the toilet, so we're keeping everything crossed for him for tonight's episode. P.s. thanks Tom for making our forthcoming range of toilet mechanisms look 100% our type on paper!’
