Time to revive the 'Bend And Snap' - Reese Witherspoon has talked about the possibility of a Legally Blonde 3 film. Speaking on Lifetime's Fashionably Late, Reese revealed that she thought it was the "right time" for Elle Woods to make a comeback.
The last Legally Blonde movie came out a whopping 12 years ago - and in 2013 co-star Jennifer Coolidge revealed that Reese had turned down a potential third movie. Why Reese, why?!
But it sounds like Ms Witherspoon is up for slipping back into the shoes of the bubbly blonde again - and it's all down to women featuring more prominently in politics at the moment (aka Hillary Clinton).
"A lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it," Witherspoon explained. "I actually think it's kind of great right now because we're talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women. And I think it'd be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office".
She added: "I think we're ready to see Elle and see what she's up to lately."
But before you dust down your pink two-piece boucle suit, Reese hasn't hinted that anything is in motion yet. Asked about the possibility of a third movie, she said: "Call MGM".
Will somebody PLEASE call the film studio - we need more Elle in our lives!
