Kudos to Lauren Conrad! The Hills star was so disgusted by a restaurant’s attitude towards same sex couples that she walked out, and subsequently tweeted her distaste.

LC was celebrating her bachelorette weekend in Cabo, Mexico, when an emcee at The Office restaurant made a homophobic slur during a game in which couples are invited to squeeze balloons between each other and according to Lauren, gay couples were not allowed to take part in the festivities.

‘The Office in Cabo does not allow same sex couples to participate in couple games. Had to walk out. #equality #StopThe Hate,’ she wrote on Twitter.

A manager at the restaurant said the whole thing was a joke and that all diners are allowed to play, regardless of sexuality. Carmen Alucano told People that the restaurant 'doesn't care' about sexuality, saying: ‘The only thing we don't allow in the restaurant is smoking. That's the only rule we have.’

Either way, we salute Lauren for walking out due to a tasteless joke about gay couples, and for calling out the restaurant on Twitter for the ‘joke’.
