When it comes to once-in-a-lifetime performances, it doesn't get much bigger or better than the Super Bowl half-time show.
This year’s show saw Lady Gaga take to the stage, and her epic performance did not disappoint. From the troupe of acrobatic backing dancers to the trapeze entrance that spawned a thousand memes, Gaga’s thirteen minute performance was one of the most watched in history.
More than 100 million people tuned into watch the show, and the while the majority were supportive, there were a handful who criticised Gaga for her clothing choices and body shape.
Now, the singer has taken to Instagram to respond to the negative comments she recieved via social media. Her message was inspiring, and thankful of her supportive fans.
“I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too” Gaga wrote.
“I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you,” she continued.
