Newsflash: Lady Gaga is not pregnant. Or, rather, the pop superstar wants to assure you that she isn’t pregnant with a human child, but with a seriously exciting album that she’s cooking up. “Rumors I’m pregnant?” the 32-year-old tweeted on Tuesday. “Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6.” (Honestly, as far as we're concerned this is more exciting than Mother Monster actually revealing she is going to be a mum.)

Most excitingly of all, following the announcement her next project is underway, Gaga followed Rihannaand producer Bloodpop on Instagram, meaning our powers of deduction are telling us that a collab with Riri is set to happen on the upcoming LP. And it seems legit, because confirming his involvement, Bloodpop – who worked on the majority of her last album Joanne - retweeted Gaga’s announcement. Another Gaga girl-power collab like Beyonce smash hit Telephone, or 2016’s Hey Girl with Florence Welch, is more than truly welcome – so we’re hoping Riri will confirm soon.

Since absolutely slaying the Oscars, speculation has heightened that the musician is pregnant with her first child. Recently, one tabloid even claimed that she didn’t know whether the father of the ficitional child was co-star and director Bradley Cooper or her ex-fiance Christian Carino. But Gaga – despite calling off her engagement to the talent agent last month - is having the last laugh, as she has used the gossip as a prime marketing opportunity while she is at the absolute height of her career. #LG6 will mark the first big project Gaga has embarked on since her stellar performance in A Star Is Born, which earned her an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe. (In fact, Shallow was her first number one in eight years.) We absolutely cannot wait to hear what music Gaga is going to release - but, in the mean time, we’ll keep Shallow on repeat.
