Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper appeared to weather one of the biggest storms in their relationship earlier this year, when he was romantically linked with his A Star Is Born co-star, Lady Gaga.

At the time, amid all the Hollywood talk, Irina remained resolutely by his side – even after that emotional Oscar performance of the song Shallow, which led to thousands of tweets urging Bradley and Gaga to kiss as they sat at the piano.

Four months later, however, and it seems that the chatter surrounding Bradley, 44, and his ‘intense relationship’ with Gaga was simply too relentless and humiliating for Irina. She has now moved out of the Los Angeles home she shared with her boyfriend of four years, taking their two-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with her and ending months of unhappiness.

As news of their separation spread, it emerged that Gaga, 33, had also been forced to speak out about her ‘involvement’ in the split while performing during her residency at the Park Theatre in Las Vegas.

The crowd are said to have begun heckling the singer before she performed her and Bradley’s now infamous duet, Shallow. She apparently told the audience: ‘Be kind, be kind or f**k off.’

Now, Russian influencers and celebrities, many of whom are verified on Instagram. are trolling Gaga by commenting under her posts. Showing support for Irina, who was born in Russia, the comments range from 'Irina do not worry, you are pretty and you will find your happiness,' to 'They say Bradley was with Irina under a contract, and not for love.'

After the split Grazia learned that while Irina and Bradley have played down any third- party involvement, and made a concerted effort to hold their relationship together, all the talk put a huge strain on them.

‘Bradley’s connection to Gaga is what tipped Irina over the edge,’ says Grazia’s source. ‘She was humiliated, particularly during their performance at the Oscars. To be in the same room as that, and to see the response that ensued, was hard to handle.’

It’s true that their attachment to each other had been well-publicised. Gaga based her entire, ‘If there were 100 people in a room,’ publicity tour speech on Bradley. She told Vogue of their rst meeting, ‘The second I saw him, I was like, “Have I known you my whole life?”’ Gaga continued,

‘It was an instant connection, instant understanding.’ Bradley seconded this, telling Variety, he ‘fell in love with her face and eyes’.

Though there is no suggestion that this has gone any further, Bradley had been ‘emotionally absent’ from Irina, according to the source, not only during the promotional tour for the film, but in the run-up and during filming. ‘This took up over a year of Bradley’s life, and for that time it felt to Irina like there was another woman competing – whether anything happened between Bradley and Gaga or not.’

A source tells Grazia that Gaga is ‘devastated to have been dragged into this split, and so publicly. She feels it’s outshining the work they did on the movie, which is the last thing either of them wanted. Gaga doesn’t want to be seen as the other woman.’

Gaga split from her fiancé Christian Carino just before the Oscars, and last week he showed his support for Irina by liking her first post-split post on Instagram. Irina unfollowed Gaga after the Shallow Oscars performance and looked decidedly fierce last week as she took to the catwalk in black leather for the CR Runway x LuisaVia Roma 90th anniversary show.

Behind the scenes, however, Gaga and Bradley’s friendship remains. ‘They’re adamant it should be maintained because what they built with the film and their relationship is precious,’ added the source.
