Cast your mind back to the Oscars in February, and obviously the most memorable part of the evening was Lady Gag{
Now, Gaga has crushed our dreams - as she has admitted that the whole thing was a stunt that her and Bradley had been practising for days. ‘We mapped the whole thing out,’ she told Oprah, who was interviewing her forElle. ‘It was orchestrated. We made a love story. For me, as a performer and actress, of course we wanted people to believe we were in love. We wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars.’
She added, ‘We wanted it to go right through the lens of that camera and to every television that it was being watched on. And we worked hard on it — we worked for days.’
Speculation around the couple grew after Gaga split from her fiancé Christian Carino during awards season. It only heightened when Bradley split from his girlfriend of four years, model Irina Shayk – with whom he has a two-year-old daughter, Lea. Again, Gaga was forced to speak out over reports she’d become ‘the other woman’, telling taunting fans, ‘be kind or f*** off’.
Last month, Gaga confirmed she was single on her Instagram stories, after briefly dating her sound engineer Dan Horton. The pair met when Horton was hired as her monitor engineer, having previously worked with Bruno Mars, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake.
Bit selfish that the pair can't just fall in love and get married to satisfy public appetite, tbh.
