When Angelina Jolie was joined by her rarely seen teenage son, Knox Jolie-Pitt, at a red carpet for the Governors Awards in Los Angeles last year, it prompted everyone on the internet to ask, ‘Which kid is this?’

And now, Knox is once again stepping up. As several Los Angeles wildfires continue to burn, Angelina and Knox were spotted doing what they can to help their local community. In a video shared online, the Maria actress and her son were spotted loading water bottles and various food essentials into the trunk of their car - with Angelina saying, 'Right now, I'm taking care of people close to me and having them at my house.'

It can get pretty difficult remembering the names and ages of the Jolie-Pitt clan, but luckily, we’re here to tell you everything you need to know about Knox.

Who is Knox Jolie-Pitt?

Knox and his twin sister Vivienne are the youngest children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. His older adopted siblings are Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, and alongside his twin, Vivienne, he has one other full-blood sibling in Shiloh, 18.

How old is Knox Jolie-Pitt?

Knox was born 12 July 2008 in Nice, France, making him 16 years old (and an intuitive and emotional Cancer.)

What have Brad and Angelina said about Knox Jolie-Pitt?

The infamously private pair rarely open up about their extended brood, but last year, Angelina Jolie admitted of her children, ‘They're especially shy, very private people, and they want to be private.’ She also revealed, ‘They are the closest people to me and my life, and they’re my close friends. We’re seven very different people, which is our strength.’

Actor Brad also rarely talks about his children, but revealed back in 2014, ‘I care about them more than I care about myself, which I think is the real definition of love. You see past yourself and become more generous and giving and wanting only the best for your family.’

Did Knox Jolie-Pitt drop the ‘Pitt’ from his name?

No, Knox still keeps both his mother and his father’s last names. However, his older sister Shiloh filed a request to legally drop ‘Pitt’ from her surname in the summer of 2024.

Shiloh followed in the footsteps of her older sister Zahara, who also dropped ‘Pitt’ from her surname. Similarly, Brad's youngest daughter chose to be billed as simply ‘Vivienne Jolie’ in a playbill for her performance in The Outsiders.

Does Knox Jolie-Pitt see Brad Pitt?

According to People Magazine, Knox and his twin sister Vivienne are the only of the Jolie-Pitt children to still see their father. However, Knox hasn’t been publicly photographed with the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star for over a decade, and Brad’s busy filming schedule keeps him away from home for long stretches of time, leaving little time for father-son bonding.

The actor reportedly has no relationship at all with his older children - and his second-eldest son, Pax, has made this no secret.

On Father’s Day back in 2020, Pax posted a scathing message to the A-Lister, writing, ‘You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person. You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so. You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday. So, Happy Father's Day, you f*cking awful human being.’

Does Knox Jolie-Pitt have social media?

No, Knox doesn’t have any official social media accounts at all— or at least, none that the public are aware of...
