Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington has checked into a US wellness retreat, reportedly to deal with stress. According to Page Six, Kit - who played Jon Snow on the HBO series for eight years - has been at a luxury Connecticut health retreat for nearly a month. They report that the actor has been undergoing ‘psychological coaching, practicing mindful meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy’ to combat stress at the cost of ‘over $120,000 a month’.

An insider told Page Six, ‘The end of GoT really hit Kit hard… He realised, “This is it — this is the end”, it was something they had all worked so hard on for so many years. He had a moment of, what next? He’s in the clinic predominantly for stress and exhaustion and also alcohol. His wife Rose is being extremely supportive.’

The 32-year-old actor recently told Esquire that he ‘broke down’ filming Jon Snow's final scenes. He said, ‘The final day of shooting, I felt fine... I felt fine... I felt fine... Then I went to do my last shots and started hyperventilating a bit. Then they called, “Wrap!” And I just... broke down. It was this onslaught of relief and grief about not being able to do this again.’

A rep for the actor told Page Six, ‘Kit has decided to utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues.'
