Kirsten Dunst and her fiancé Jesse Plemons are expecting their first child, according to a report by Us Weekly.
Dunst and Plemons met while making their cult TV series Fargo, in which they play husband and wife in season two, and made their red carpet debut at the Independent Spirit Awards earlier this year. They begun dating in May 2016, a few months after the actress and her ex-boyfriend Garrett Hedlund split after four years together and persistent engagement rumours.
The engaged couple and parents-to-be are set to work together again soon, when Plemons stars in the upcoming version of The Bell Jar that Dunst is directing (cute fact: she refers to him as her ‘favourite actor to work with’). Plemons will also be appearing in the new series of Black Mirror, while Dunst is starring in George Clooney-produced TV series On Becoming A God In Central Florida.
The couple are set to wed next spring in Plemons’ native Austin, Texas, in an intimate ceremony. Talking to E! News about the upcoming nuptials, she revealed that she would be wearing a dress by longtime friends and collaborators Rodarte, but that she had been ‘slow’ planning much else.
Dunst has made no secret of her desire to have children in the past few years. In 2014, she told Red Magazine that she was ‘in baby mode’, while she told Marie Claire earlier this year that she was looking forward to being able to ‘have babies and chill’ with Plemons.
