We’re Obsessed With Kim Kardashian’s Snakeskin Trousers

Kim Kardashian-West eclipsed any baby-name related news this weekend when she went out in a pair of bootleg snakeskin trousers as the couple stepped out for a date night over the weekend.

They attended a special screening of Honor Up directed by Damon Dash – best known as the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella along with Kanye’s on/off bestie Jay-Z – in Calabasas over the weekend.

While Kanye kept it subdued in a monochrome outfit and a few gold chains, the beauty and fashion icon paired those snakeskin trousers with a pair of Yeezy Season 5 python skin stiletto boots, a highlighter-yellow jumper and a small black handbag. We (and the Internet) wholeheartedly approve.

Snakeskin might not be the most obvious choice to celebrate a new arrival but coincidentally the snake is historically a symbol of fertility and new life. So kudos to Kim for the symbolic postnatal outfits.

The snake with its shedding skin also represents rejuvenation and rebirth which makes snakeskin a great choice if you’re still looking for a fresh start in 2018.
