Kim Kardashian And Kanye West’s Third Child Has Arrived!

At long last Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have welcomed their third child via a surrogate, it has been confirmed.

Kim posted the happy news to her app today, writing: 'Kanye and I are delighted to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.' The new arrival weighed 7lbs 6oz, but beyond that we don't know much more about their new bouncing baby girl.

We all remember when Kim confirmed the news of the third pregnancy on a teaser for the latest series of *Keeping Up With The Kardashians, *right? Chatting to Khloe on FaceTime, the teaser showed Kim asking her sister: 'What happens every time I say "guess what?"'

Khloe replies: 'You're either pregnant or a person is pregnant.'

Kim responds: 'We're having a baby!'

It was thrilling. But not quite as overwhelmingly over the top as all of the conspiracy theories that followed about who the surrogate was and which of the other Kardashian-Jenner sisters were or were not pregnant too. Some conspiracy theorist reckon Kylie is the surrogate, but we won't go there right now...

Kim Kardashian West's pregnancy struggles have been well-documented in the reality TV show as many of us already know. She suffered from a rare condition called placenta accreta during her first two pregnancies, which led to her first born North West arriving prematurely. During the series, she's been seen investigating other options, after discovering that she's unlikely to be able to bring a third baby to term.

Discussing her experiences of expecting via a surrogate, Kim told ET: 'You know, it is really different. Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong. I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control.'

Clearly, any problems along the way were worth it for Kim and Kanye. Congratulations to the happy couple! No doubt all eyes will be on her social media channels for first glimpse and news of their youngest daughter's name.
