Klan Kardashian – minus Khloe – kongregated in Los Angeles yesterday to celebrate the glorious fact that the family’s most famous export, Kim, has turned a year older.
Hosting a surprise 35th birthday party for his wife (is anything ever really a surprise in their world?) Mr Kanye West looked his normal cheery self as he walked Kim and her blooming baby bump encased in a flesh-coloured skin-tight frock into a cinema complex in Thousand Oaks.
Awaiting there to surprise the birthday girl was Kris, Kourtney, Khloe and Kendall (fresh from the Balmain show in New York). Kylie’s boyfriend Tyga and Caitlyn Jenner were spotted arriving later.
Kim later revealed via Instagram that Kanye had hired out the whole cinema to host a special screening of the new Steve Jobs biopic and that guests had to come dressed up as their best pregnant Kim look, complete with fake baby bumps on arrival.
‘My husband never ceases to amaze me’ Kim tweeted alongside a picture of a giant white cake, with the words Happy Pregnant Birthday Kim against a wall of white roses.
Kim is expecting her second child with Kanye, a boy, in December. It is the first time the family have had something to celebrate since Khloe’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom, was hospitalised in a coma after a four-day drugs and sex binge in a brothel in Nevada. Khloe, who was in the processing of divorcing the basketball player, has not left his bedside, hence not being at Kim’s celebrations. Lamar has now come out of his coma and has reportedly been moved to a hospital in Los Angeles. It was also being reported that Khloe was calling off their divorce.
