Imagine a world where Katie Price and Peter Andre were bigger stars than Kim Kardashian. No, not an alternative universe to rival The Wizard of Oz, but this very world, circa 2009. Fans have been left flabbergasted as an 11-year-old tweet by the Kardashian Kween resurfacing on a popular meme account sharing peak 00’s content.
'Omg Katie Price aka Jordan and her husband Peter are on my flight home from NYC!' gushed Kim on April 5, who at the time was known for little more than being Paris Hilton’s stylist and best bud.' The post was captioned, 'I won't lie to you, there's never a day that goes by that I don't think about this tweet that Kim sent in 2009.'
Followers of the account were loving the crossover, with one writing, 'Thank you for bringing this tweet into my life, KIM K BEING STAR STRUCK BY KATIE PRICE.'
'How bizarre!! There's flashbacks & then there's hallucinations!' another said, with one more adding, 'Kim Kardashian being star struck by Katie Price absolutely sends me.'
At the time, Peter and Jordan, as she was then known, were at the height of their power couple fame and had recently welcomed their daughter Princess together. But as we all know, their fairytale wasn’t to last, and the pair split later that year amid claims of infidelity. She is now engaged for the eighth time, to Carl Woods.
Katie later said in a Christmas special of her show, Katie Price: My Crazy Life: 'Mine and Pete’s relationship was very magazine and TV based, we were never really left alone to enjoy our relationship. Everything was documented. But the best thing to come out of it was Junior and Princess.' She added, 'I would say that in a nutshell, Pete was the perfect one – then. I actually thought we would have been together for ever. But it is what it is. It’s been ten years and people still go on about it – but onwards and upwards.'
