Update 18/4 Congratulations are in order for lawyer-in-training Kim Kardashian, who has revealed that she's aced her torts exam.

"Aced my test btw," the 38-year-old tweeted on Wednesday after the test (which the day before she showed she was revising for on her Instagram story.) The triumph comes after the reality star admitted she found torts - the study of private and civil offenses - difficult compared to other subjects, while she is studying as a first-year law apprentice. Read more about her studies below.

We all knew Kim Kardashianwas a big fan of criminal justice, but it looks like she’s taking her passion to the next level - by training to become a lawyer. The reality queen - who is the daughter of Robert Kardashian, a member of OJ Simpson’s defence team - is taking a four-year apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco, which she started last summer. It also follows last month’s news that she offered to pay the rent of an ex-prisoner for five years. The star also revealed - in the cover interview with US Vogue - that she is doing 18 hours a week of study, and that she is being mentored by two lawyers.

Speaking about her decision to take up her studies, after helping to grant clemency to Alice Marie Johnson, she said, ‘I had to think long and hard about this. The White House called me to advise to help change the system of clemency and I’m sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentenced criminals and a lot of really powerful people and I just sat there, like, “Oh, shit. I need to know more.”'

She added, ‘I would say what I had to say, about the human side and why this is so unfair. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case. It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society. I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.’

She will take her first test this summer and, if she passes, she will be able to study for three more years. She said, ‘First year of law school, you have to cover three subjects: criminal law, torts, and contracts. To me, torts is the most confusing, contracts the most boring, and crim law I can do in my sleep. Took my first test, I got a 100. Super easy for me. The reading is what really gets me. It’s so time-consuming. The concepts I grasp in two seconds.
