Unless you've been living down a 60-foot man-hole, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West got married yesterday in what has to be one of the most hyped and ridiculous weddings in living memory. Note we said "one of" because, sorry Kimye, but nothing'll take the top spot away from Kate and Wills OK?!

Either way, from huge walls of flowers to notable absences (er, where was Kanye's supposed best man Jay Z?) here are five highlights from the wedding of the year so you can finally sleep soundly tonight knowing you've got a good overview...

**The Friday night reception was MAD **

Taking place in Paris, in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles, guests drank $6000 champagne while Lana Del Rey performed three choons and it ended with a massive firework display. Hopefully nobody got too battered because they had to look pretty fresh for the following morning when they were all FLOWN TO FLORENCE for the ceremony. Loads of guests were shuttled via private jet, but a fair few were chartered. Let's hope Kimye got a good deal on easyjet.

Rob Kardashian, Kim's brother, didn't attend after having an argument the previous day about how superficial it all was

According to reports and sources, Rob decided not to come to the wedding after a pretty nasty row at a pre-wedding brunch at designer Valentino's estate the day before the ceremony. A source revealed: "Rob said he was sickened by Kim and Kanye's display of wealth and clothes and beauty and called it 'superficial bulls***' but Kim was pissed that Rob hadn't made an effort to drop any weight over the past few months. Rob basically thinks Kim cares about him only for his appearance and he said he'd 'make life easier' for her and just leave." God. Sounds like a really fun brunch.

**After all the wondering, they actually got married on a big hill **

Turns out the main sites in Florence and Paris that Kanye and Kim were for the pre and post parties rather than the ceremony itself; the pair got married on a hilltop at Fort Belvedere, overlooking Florence and shielded by a huge wall of white flowers. It looked pretty classy, which was... surprising. They said "I do" in front of a whopping 600 guests, which was unsurprising and both wore Givenchy, contrary to the mass-Valentino rumours.

**Jay Z wasn't there. Neither was Bey. **

After apparently referring to the wedding as a "circus", Jay Z didn't end up going - despite being,as far as everyone was aware, confirmed as Kanye's best man. There have been reports that Beyonce and Kim aren't exactly the best of mates, with Beyonce recently snubbing Kim upon arriving at the same dermatologists at the same time (awk), but we all thought Jay was a dead cert. According to reports, he ended up spending a quiet weekend at The Hamptons with his family, and Beyonce instagrammed a no makeup selfie on the day of the wedding before hastily adding a congrats to the newly weds. It came off as slightly passive aggressive, and we'd love to know the real reason behind the snub but alas, all we can do is speculate. It's not yet been confirmed who took Jay Z's supposed Best Man Crown, either, but one of the tracks to get played at the afterparty was Drunk In Love. So it can't be that acrimonious.

The crowd got really big when people thought Justin Bieber was going to be there

He wasn't.

**Their first dance was to John Legend **

The Legend and legend (John Legend) apparently sang At Last, which was Kanye and Kim's first dance, followed by All of Me and Ordinary People. The Mail reports that at 1am the party was still going strong, although one of the first to leave was Kim's 78 year old grandmother which is totally fair enough. Notable party goers included: Chrissy Teigen, rapper Common, Vogue's Andre Leon Talley, celebrity magician David Blaine, designer Rachel Roy, founder of burlesque troupe The Pussycat Dolls Robin Antin, and Kim's mates LaLa Anthony and Brittny Gastineau. Oh, and an anonymous woman spotted wandering around barefoot after way too much dancing.

While Kim hasn't instagrammed at all during the ceremony, here's a cute picture from the wedding photobooth- instagrammed by, erm, Kanye West's barber:
