Someone at Jean Paul Gaultier isn’t very happy with Kim Kardashian.
Last week we reported that Kim has a new fragrance out, and the bottle is made from a naked mould of her body. In true Kim K style she showed the making of the bottle, which included a shot of her nude and dripping in plaster.
As soon as pictures of the new perfume bottle were released to the public, the comparisons with another well-known fragrance were made – to Jean Paul Gaultier's Classique fragrance which (in case you’ve never seen it) is designed to resemble a woman’s body in a corset.
Jean Paul Gaultier and his team’s response? Post a series of pictures reminding people of just how iconic the Classique bottle is, along with some interesting comments.

And a third picture shows the Le Male fragrance alongside the Classique, with the caption 'Against all rumours, #LeMale isn't seeing someone else. ud83dude09 #Classique' The references were not lost on comments who wrote 'eau de shade' and tagged @kimkardashianwest to make sure she saw the posts. Kim has already acknowledged the similarities between the bottles in a recent interview. 'Sculptures were my inspiration...' she told Cosmopolitan. 'I wanted mine to be really personal with my exact mould, but I've always loved the Jean Paul Gaultier bottles'

This is not the first time Kim Kardashian has been accused of stealing other people's ideas. Last year she came under fire for similarities between her designs for children's clothing line The Kids Supply, but her representatives claimed it was supposed to be an homage to famous designers.
