Just weeks after Beyoncé Knowles Carter was over-taken by Kim Kardashian as the most-followed celeb on Instagram, ANOTHER star has stolen the most popular Instagram crown.
Yep, Taylor Swift is now the most-followed celebrity on Instagram, with over 50 million followers compared to Kardashian’s 48.4 million and Queen Bey’s 47.5 million.
She thanked her fans on Instagram, writing "50 million followers! Thanks so much guys. I'm pretty sure this is just because I have cute cats though".
While we love her cat photos, with her shots of her girl squad and funny, relatable posts, it's no surprise that Taylor has shot to the top of the most-followed list.
Kim celebrated when she became the most-followed on Instagram by sharing a "cleavage selfie" with her followers - but we doubt Tay Tay will do the same!

Guess who's just surpassed Beyoncé Knowles Carter as the most followed person on Instagram? None other than reality TV star, Kim Kardashain West.
Taking her followers up to a whopping 44,005,604, Kim has sailed past Beyoncé, who's current number of followers stands at 43,935,648 and rising.
Tech Insider credits Kim's surge in popularity with the fact she posts more regularly than Beyoncé – and with more personal, wordier captions – in spite of the fact both women supply fans with legions of selfies and family snaps, including pictures of their daughters North West and Blue Ivy Carter, respectively.
Whilst she is evidently the most popular of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kim is joined in the 'Top 10 Most Followed List' by three of her sisters – Kendall Jenner comes in seventh, Kylie Jenner in eighth, and Khloé Kardashian tenth – as recorded by Social Blade.
Best friends Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are also top of the female-dominated tally – Taylor in third place, with 43,533,226, and Selena in fourth, with 41,843,095.
In fact, the only man to appear on the list, is Justin Bieber, who stands in sixth place with 36,994,254.
Whilst Instagram itself is the account with the most followers (94.4million), it's encouraging to see so many women topping the list.
