It seems like there’s not a day that goes by that Khloe Kardashian doesn’t have some kind of online interaction with trolls. For each picture she posts, the comment section is flooded with followers telling her how different she looks or how she needs to speak up about the plastic surgery she’s had done.

For reference, she has – Khloe spoke about getting a nose job, Botox, and facial injections (fillers) in 2021, after years of speculation.

‘For me, everyone says, “Oh my gosh, she’s had her third face transplant”’ she said during a Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s Reunion. ‘But I’ve had one nose job — Dr Raj Kinodia— and everyone gets so upset, like, “Why don’t I talk about it?”. No one’s ever asked me. You’re the first person in an interview that’s ever asked me about my nose. I’ve done, sure, injections — not really Botox. I’ve responded horribly to Botox.’

Despite admitting the trolling does get to her, followers continue to harass Khloe about her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery – ironic because, they were likely the same people body-shaming her for years prior to her surgery. Last night though, one user got the ultimate Khloe clapback.

‘Do you miss your old face?’ one person commented. Khloe’s reply? No essay rant, no sarcastic side eye, just a flat out: ‘No’. The response immediately went viral, shared on the Comments By Celebs Instagram account to the tune of 35,000 likes.

Perhaps reflective of a new unbothered attitude, Khloe’s reply speaks volumes. Rather than arguing in comment sections about what she does or doesn’t owe her fans, she’s taken to literal honestly instead. And as she should. Khloe has faced more than her fair share of criticism for choosing to have work done, and whether or not her platform affords her more responsibility to make choices that do not harm other people, it’s entirely unfair to ask anyone not to make changes to their physical body purely to benefit other people. She’s privileged, sure, but she’s just as victim to unrealistic beauty standards as the rest of us – perhaps even more so given her celebrity status gives people a sense of entitlement over publicly debating her looks.

Frankly, the only way to deal with these trolls is to show them you don’t care what they think – and we’re here for it.
