What does it take to create a record-breaking Instagram? Well, now we know as the list of 2015's most liked photos has been revealed, and no surprises that this year's most sought-after model Kendall Jenner has topped the list. She takes the title from sister Kim Kardashian's whose wedding photo was last year's champion.
However, things aren't so bad for runner-up Taylor Swift as she dominates the list with five photos - one of which features her now ex Calvin Harris, and three of her cats Olivia Benson and Meredith. At least now we know which of her nearest and dearest the internet favours...
So what did it take for Kendall to bagsie the top spot? That shot of her lying down the floor in an ethereal designer gown, wearing her best serene expression and hair twisted into hearts racked up a staggering 3.2 million likes. Yikes.
Beyonce and Blue Ivy also made the list with a very regal portrait, as did Kylie Jenner's graduation photo and a snap of Selena Gomez in the passenger seat in her "fav" sweater.
However, there's still time to compete for the year's most rousing Instagram - there's 27 days left until end of play. So it's anyone's game, though more likely Taylor or Kendall's.
