How Kendall Jenner & Gigi Hadid Helped A Homeless Model Get Signed

Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner are making dreams a reality. News has emerged that the supermodels have helped a homeless skater and aspiring model make his first steps towards stardom.

The story goes that the fashion week faves spotted 20-year-old John Economou on Venice Beach - where he was living at the time - after they had shoot a magazine spread with actor Ansel Elgort. They struck up a conversation with him and then connected him with Two Model Management, who signed him on the spot. A pretty big deal considering Kendall started out with the same agency.

John told The Daily Mail "One of the girls said to me, 'You're cute,' so I turned around and we struck up conversation. Kendall was cool, she was super down to earth and chill. We were just having a normal conversation talking about life, acting modeling, personal lives."

John moved to California from Milwaukee to pursue his dreams, and has clearly become a of a ladies' man along the way - he even reportedly has the nickname the 'Romeo of Venice Beach'.

"I do like sleeping on the beach but I obviously like going home with chicks too," he told The Mail.

John is still living and sleeping on the beach, but he has high hopes for his career. "I want to be the top," he says. "I want to be top of the top with Kendall, with Justin Bieber with those kind of people. I'm confident in myself if I can get there."
