Kendall Jenner fans, you can now breathe a sigh of relief, as the supermodel has officially RETURNED to Instagram.
Sure, it's only been a week, but we have to admit we've definitely missed the supermodel's regular throwbacks of the Kardashian Klan and fashion updates on our feed.
But since Jenner's been back on the photo-sharing platform the 21-year-old supermodel and social media sensation has given her Insta something of an aesthetic makeover - posting three, edgy photos of her pals clubbing, crediting her photo skills at the end of each snap [example: 'shy boy by me'].
Could Kendall be seeking a career behind the camera? In July, she took pictures of Kaia Gerber for LOVE magazine. Well, if she did plan on making a move into photography, she's got some pretty good contacts on speed-dial to call on for advice.
On the 16th November we wrote...
Social media is experiencing a meltdown. And no, it’s got nothing to do with the latest A-lister taking on the Mannequin Challenge.
Kendall Jenner appears to have gone AWOL on Instagram, after fans searching for the supermodel over the weekend on the photo-sharing platform were greeted with the dreaded “sorry, this page isn’t available” message when you land on her profile.
While Kim Kardashian West appears to have made a return to social media, her younger sibling is taking a break from the Insta-spotlight a la Justin Bieber. Leaving her 68 million followers speculating that a recent ballerina-themed shoot, which garnered backlash, is the real reason behind her hiatus. Not the case. In fact, Kendall’s move offline is just temporary, and she is just taking a much needed digital breather...
'I don't know. I just wanted to detox,' she told Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show. 'I just wanted a little bit of a break. I'm always on it. I feel like I would wake up in the morning and I would look at it first thing, I would go to bed and it was the last thing I would look at. I felt a little dependent on it. It's a detox.'
'I'll be back. I'll come back,' Kendall told viewers.
‘I definitely have close friends, and even some family members, who are so connected to their phone and can't get off of it,’ she previously told Allure magazine. ‘That was the moment it kind of clicked for me. And I didn't like it. So sometimes I delete Instagram or Twitter or Snapchat off my phone for a couple days.’
Finger's crossed the fashionista will be popping up on our feed soon. Watch this space.
