'Kendall has thought Chris was hot for years now and has always idolized him,' the source told the magazine.'Kendall conveniently latches on to whomever can make her more famous and she is game for anything that will get her the most exposure.'
Okay let's slow down here, before we all start crying and writing strongly worded letters to our MPs. That source immediately sounds slightly suspicious - Kendall is already a member of the most famous family on the planet. There is pretty much nobody who could make her more famous. She's also incredibly savvy about distancing herself from tabloidy rumour, as shown by her distance from the Kimye circus, the fact she's lessening her role on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the dropping of her last name. She wants to be taken seriously, which is the opposite of what will happen if she dates Chris Brown.
On another level, would Kris Jenner allow this? Wouldn't there have been an intervention? It's true that sister Kylie and Kendall have been snapped hanging out with the rapper - otherwise known as A Really Great Guy - but taking it to the next level would surely mean some sort of paperwork. We imagine Kanye West had to sign an old hallowed Kardashian contract which Kris presented on the third date, like a sort of diamante-covered scroll.
For now, there's no hard evidence that this gossip is anything more than gossip - so let's all fervently watch this space for more updates before flying into a Chris Brown induced rage. Do you remember when he tweeted that Cher 'needs a beating' and should 'shut her granny mouth'? Do you remember when he assaulted Rihanna? Do you remember when... Oh you know all of this and we don't want to ruin your day.
Suffice to say we hope this is just gossip.
