She's not all bad, y'know...

Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway and a whole host of others have all added 'can sing' to their repertoire - but we didn't expect Keira Knightley to join those ranks. And we also didn't expect her to be so... good at singing.

Ahead of her new movie *Begin Again *with Mark Ruffalo and, erm, Adam Levine from Maroon 5 (apparently he can act, so that's nice), Vulture has released a preview featuring a single from the soundtrack along with some bits from the film. It's not just a vanity project; Begin Again centres around a singer-songwriter who breaks up with her boyf (Levine) and is compelled to take to the microphone, which is why Keira got involved in the soundtrack. As in, sang all of it.

A woebegone A&R man (Ruffalo) sees her belting out tunes in a crummy New York bar and snaps her up. Hijinks and lurve will surely ensue and, judging by the below song, Lost Stars (take a look), it's set to be quite a cute little movie. Certainly better than *Coyote Ugly * which is the barometer against which we measure all films about singer-songwriters.

What do you think of Keira's vocals? We're fans, although the lyrics are a bit... lame. Cupid demanding back his arrow and I'll be damned and all that.
