The sequel to the second Sex And The City film could have featured a cameo from a very well known British face. Yep, Katie Price said she auditioned for the role of the 'hot nanny' in 2009, but didn't get the part. (In hindsight, Katie missing out on the role was perhaps for the best, as the second film was offensive, controversial and widely panned by critics.)
'I auditioned to be the hot babysitter on [Sex And The City] and obviously, I clearly didn’t get it,' Katie said, speaking on podcast The Fellas. The role of Charlotte's nanny, Erin, in the second film actually went to English actress Alice Eve, who has since appeared in Belgravia and Iron Fist. 'I recently went to LA where I was doing my acting lessons for Sex and the City Part 2.' Katie previously said about the audition. 'They want a big-breasted English glamour girl and I have had the audition.'
Katie also said on the podcast that she would one day like to see a movie about her life - to be honest, we would watch - but she wouldn't want to act in it. 'I have never done acting and that,' Katie said. 'I would eventually like to do a film about my life but I wouldn’t want to act it. I would want to get someone to do it.'
Who would Katie choose to play her, though? **'**I have thought about it,I would like to say, I clearly look different all the time,' she said. 'Carmen Electra is one. I have done a shoot with Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson and the photographer used to say I was in between them both back then. Julia Roberts in my younger days - she’s got the curly hair, but she’s older now.'
