Kate Moss Is Launching Her Own Interior Design Company

Kate Moss has registered a new business, but it's not what you think, she's not setting up her own collection of grey skinny jeans or fringed jackets. According to reports we could one day soon be sitting on Kate Moss sofas, eating off Kate Moss plates and lighting Kate Moss candles, as Kate is launching her own interiors company.

The Sun has reported that she has registered her new business, Kate Moss Interiors Ltd, with Companies House and is working on the project with her friend Katie Grove, who runs Grove Interiors.

A source said to the newspaper: “Kate is always looking for new projects away from modelling. She loved doing her fashion line and is really getting into acting after filming for the Absolutely Fabulous movie. But to start an interior design company shows she’s serious. She loves it and puts a lot of time, effort, thought and money into design.”

This move isn't totally out of the blue, as earlier this year Kate collaborated with homes developers, the Lakes By Yoo, on her first interiors project. She oversaw the interiors of a five bedroom home called 'The Barnhouse' in the Cotswolds.

Kate said in an interview with The Sunday Times: “I’m branching out. I’d known John long enough that I could just phone him up to speak about it. There was a relationship already, rather than some stranger coming up and saying, ‘Do you want to do interiors?’ I wouldn’t have done that.”

So what does a house designed by Kate Moss look like? A release explained that the house is inspired by a traditional English novel and old country home, with earthy hues throughout the home. Of course it featured several Kate Moss portraits on the walls - see inside here.

Now Kate, is an IKEA price point too much to ask?
