What happens when the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and the queen of the catwalk collide? Yes, Kate Moss has worn designer’s collections on the runway for almost three decades, but for the first time ever, she’s stepped into Elvis Presley’s shoes.
Starring in The Wonder of You music video, by Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Mossy brings the Heartbreak Hotel singer back to life in a series of ensembles inspired by four of his most iconic looks.
Among them is a seductive custom made jumpsuit, similar to Presley's famous black leather suit that he wore to his 1968 Comeback Special. And, of course, Kate's signature bedhead is particularly strong here.
Filmed at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, the video was conceptualised by Vaughan Arnell of Moxie Pictures who discovered a striking resemblance between classic Elvis Presley images and some of Kate Moss’ most famous fashion shots.
Clearly the supermodel was flattered by the comparison: ‘I was so excited to be asked to be involved in this project, anything for Elvis…'
